Back to Hockey Night
Save the date as 103.5 The Fox will be presenting "Back to Hockey Night" in conjunction with Foothills Hockey Association, Colorado Credit Union and The Edge Ice Arena.
Join us on Saturday, August 23rd from 4-8 pm at the Edge Ice Arena. We will celebrate the 5 year anniversary of the Rink and the thrill of the return of Hockey season. There will be free open skating, booths and a silent auction as well as appearances by the Denver Bronco Cheerleaders and Colorado Avalanche players to sign autographs.
Don't miss out, If you or your company would like to donate a silent auction gift set up a booth or be a sponsor of FHA please contact John Brehm, Marketing Director, Foothills Hockey at (303) 948-3079 or goalslayer89@yahoo.com. Sponsorship packages start for as little as $100 for the season. Proceeds from the Event will go to Foothills Hockey Association, a nonprofit organization. The deadline is July 25th.
Two FHA Players make the Thunderbirds!
Congratulations to Tanner Smith and Mason Peterson for making the Thunderbirds AAA team. We will miss you, but wish you a great season with the Thunderbirds. Your FHA family is very proud of you!
New Player Walk-In Registration Dates
If you are a new player and have registered online, but need to either pay by check, get sized for a jersey, or have overall questions about your registration, FHA will offer Walk-in dates with our Registrar where you can meet with her in person. The dates set are as follows:
June 24th
12-4 pm
July 1st
6-8 pm
July 8th
10-2 pm
July 24th
6-8 pm
If you cannot make any of these dates, or you'd like to talk with the registrar, please email her at registrar@foothillshockey.org and she will get in touch with you to make other arrangements.

Change in Management at the Edge Ice Arena
There has been a recent change in the management structure at the Edge Ice Arena. Mark Glombecki is no longer the acting General Manager. Although we will miss Mark, FHA is working closely with the new management team to ensure previous agreements remain intact and take the FHA/FHPRD relationship to a new level. Please join the FHA Board of Directors and welcome our new team mates.
Returning Player Registration
Returning Player Registration is now closed. If you missed the deadline, please contact your age director. All players that register after the deadline are subject to a $50 late fee. Players who do not contact their age director by June 15th will be released and have to return to the waitlist.

Curtis Leschyshyn Joins the Flyers Staff
The Foothills Hockey Board of Directors is pleased to announce the addition of Curtis Leschyshyn to the Flyers Hockey Director Staff.
Curtis’ NHL hockey resume spans over 16 years starting as a 1st round draft pick, 3rd overall in 1988. During his career, Curtis played in 1,033 NHL games. His 16-year NHL career includes a Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche in 1996 and concluded with his retirement from Professional Hockey in 2004.
Curtis’ official title with the program will be “Director of Program, Team and Player Development.” FHA is thrilled to have him on board. Please join us in welcoming Curtis to our Flyer Family.
